ThoughtMidnight struck the wooden clock
and the chilly midnight air
stroke the hair,the face so fair
of the shadow upon the floor.

The moon,nailed,lazily it perches
over sea and shore and sorrow
of the long awaited morrow
and tucks the world in silver covers.

And the ripples of the lake
dreamily they dance away
bearing dreams of late-night play
on the wooden lunar mirror.

Smaller moons slowly descend,
scarring,as if made of steel,
spreading stardust,fall,unreel,
and they meet,embrace and vanish.

Suddenly a trembling light,
resembling a butterfly
forms a shape and seems to try
to resist the void beneath,

Flutters,up and down it sw

Grave robberyGrim,the leaden sky is pressing.
Moonlight rays raining are blessing
all the crosses and the crypts,
all the trees gently caressing.

But emitted from a turn,
trembling light there seems to burn
and a black-clad figure rushes,
searching for its prize to earn.

Slips right through the graveyard's gate,
past the pillows of the late,
planning for the briefest moment
how its mad greed to sedate.

And with ominous intent
takes its pickaxe,crooked and bent
and its eyes burn with hunger,
oozing out forebodement.

Lecherly it drools,and reads
the name,half-covered still by weeds.
Touches,cherishes the feeling:
white and cool,that's all

Feelings from hatred to affection
engraved on its pale complexion.

Drawn as drippng through the face
a tear,just in any case
and,where that ends,the facade tries
to stretch a grin, like scar on ice.

Its look,devoid of any ration
stares at the sky with wanéd passion.
Eyes that see,but do not look
curse the clouds with their rebuke.

Though quite weathered,still in tact
to present fiction for a fact,
to lullaby and put to sleep

there's a crack on the complexion!

Someone drew a parallel
And glass flew around.

UnableCan't look you in the eyes.

Long lost the sighs
